Creating an edible planter for children

Friday, January 8, 2016, 11:30am – 12:30pm

Children will learn how to create their very own pot of edible plants. We will look at how to pot up, decorate your pot, how to water, fertilise and care for your plants and what are the benefits of growing your own. Presented by horticulturalist Claire Bickle.

Ideal for children aged 5-12 years.

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
