A food forest can be created anywhere with simple planning and Permaculture techniques. Jason will show you how to design, plan & implement a food forest for your property of any size. Turn your property into a food oasis by stacking, layering & building soil structure for healthy organic plants, that will produce food all year round. Plant species will be discussed, including what & where to plant. Many of these can be purchased at YCG nursery after workshop. Jason is a qualified Horticulturalist, and has completed Permaculture Design Certificate & Urban Permaculture Design and Holistic management course. Well, I took the camera with good intentions but was so engrossed in the talk and then wandering through the garden with Phil who came along to pick up ideas for his new property I took no pics.

Good basic diagrams and talk about planting fruit trees with understory plants and giving examples of good plants to use. The info will end up being posted on the YCG website I would imagine.

Sounds rivetting ... hope to see some pix and a report later on. Who is Phil?
