Event Description

29th July Workshop  Creating a Food Forest with Jason Davies (9.30 am)

A food forest can be created anywhere with simple planning and Permaculture techniques. Jason will show you how to design, plan & implement a food forest for your property of any size. Turn your property into a food oasis by stacking, layering & building soil structure for healthy organic plants, that will produce food all year round. Plant species will be discussed, including what & where to plant. Many of these can be purchased at YCG nursery after workshop. Jason is a qualified Horticulturalist, and has completed Permaculture Design Certificate & Urban Permaculture Design and Holistic management course. As a Permaculture Design Consultant, his passion is designing Permaculture properties from unit patios, suburban house lots & large/small acreage. For more information about Jason go to permaculturedesignblog.wordpress.com Jason has generously donated this workshop to Yandina Community Gardens.
