Transition Town Sunshine Coast has joined together with Bellbunya Community to bring Permaculture co-founder, David Holmgren and International speaker, Nicole Foss, to Bellbunya to run a full day workshop: Crash or crash through - How your community can adapt to Peak Oil & climate change.

Limited to 35 people, this will be a great opportunity to workshop solutions with pioneers in energy descent planning.

Author and Co-originator of Permaculture, David Holmgren creatively responds to a future with significantly less available energy using the Brown Tech Energy Descent scenario.

THE CRISIS AND WHAT LIES BEYOND - Acclaimed international speaker Nicole Foss discusses Peak Oil, the collapse of global finance and how to prepare for the future ahead.

GrowVetiver

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion.  It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
