Event Description

Fridays: 13 May and 17 June - Container Gardening on a Budget.  9.30am - 12.30pm.  

Design and plant out an attractive container garden that can produce food in the smallest of outdoor or indoor spaces.  Suitable for people 50 and over.

Northey Street City Farm, corner of Northey and Victoria Streets, Windsor, Brisbane (see map and street view).

You may have already worked this out Lissa. I have just booked the June session - they tell me the dates refer to Friday 13th MAY and Friday 17th of June

There are yearly programs run by Moreton and Brisbane councils for people over 50 with names like Older and Bolder etc.

This doesn't seem to be strictly for just the over 50's or you'd think they would say so (I copied the material I was given exactly).

Ring them and feed back to us if you can Daniel :)

When they say "suitable for people 50 and over" do they intend it to sound like younger people shouldn't come? Or are they trying to say that older people are able to participate... Might have to call and see. It seems like an interesting session.

I notice they have Friday 13th June but that is actually a Monday. Perhaps it should read Friday 10th?? If you're interested give them a ring.
