3PM workshop

Next to 21 Vera Street, Toowong, Queensland, Australia 4066

With Tim Auld of All You Can Eat Gardens
Join us for an afternoon of gardening and learning about:
• the benefits of raised garden beds
• the fastest way to compost and get quality fertiliser
• improving your soil
• maintaining a food garden.

During this hands on workshop, we will produce a great compost heap and plant out our new raised garden beds.
Wear closed-in shoes and a hat.

Gold coin donation.
Afternoon tea from 2pm - Please bring a plate of food to share.

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion.  It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
