Event Description

This one day workshop will have you making your own cheddar cheese, brie, cultured butter, ghee, yoghurt, kefir and sourcream. These dairy products are all living foods that will greatly aid your health as well as titillate the taste buds. You will find it isn’t hard to do once the secrets are revealed as many home cheese makers can testify. Participants will take home a manual with full instructions as well as enjoy morning tea and lunch. Kefir and yoghurt cultures will be available for $2 each. Cost is $95 per person and a $40 deposit will secure your booking.

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
