Join Dean Bryant on this one-day exploration into the world of Biodynamics. Dean will be explaining the biodynamic principals, the preps & what they do. The biochemical sequence. Compost teas and the soil food-web. Also, the balancing the base saturation of minerals within soils.

Dean has owned and operated a successful biodynamic blueberry farm for 12 years. 

He has studied extensively in biodynamics, soil science, soil nutrition, plant nutrition, and the interactions of the soil food web & how this all relates to soil health, plant health & human health. 
Dean also consults on farms to convert them into biodynamic practices and has lectured at the University of QLD.

Cost: $100/$85 Health Care Card Holder + Booking Fee

GrowVetiver

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion.  It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
