Backyard Beekeeping

Join Richard Neilson and Danika Nesbitt on a journey, with a mix of theory and hands on experience, as they explore the honey bees, their lifecycle, how to set them up and how to look after them to build a strong foundation of knowledge and experience.

We'll be looking at the three different hives that we have - the Langstroth, the Flowhive, and the Top Bar, the advantages of each, and we'll harvest some honey as part of the workshop.

Cost: $85/$65 Healthcare Card Holder + Booking Fee
