Event Description

What is Aquaponics? It's a sustainable recycling of nutrients between a pond growing edible fish (Aquaculture) and beds with vegetables growing in nutrient-rich water (Hydroponics). Totally organic, totally sustainable and using far less water than any other farming method, this is the backyard food production system of the future. Speakers are Jamie and Eileen Brown.
