Event Description

The Botanic Gardens will dish up a feast of food, enterainment, gardening gurus and fun at the sixth annual "What's Cooking in the Gardens?" event. This year's guest gardening speaker is 4BC/4BH gardening talkback and Gardening Australia (Qld) presenter Colin Cambell. Many plant, garden and environment groups will also be on hand with displays and advice.

Some of Redcliffe's top chefs will be cooking up a storm, along with Irish singing chef, Robbie Dunn. Watch local butchers battle it out on the Weber BBQs with the "Classic Cutlet Cook-off" or enjoy the many art and craft group displays and demonstrations.

There will also be wonderful art and craft markets, fabulous food stalls, roving music and entertainment, wine tasting, a wedding marquee display, lots of children's activities and workshops, massage, tarot reading and even poets, puppets and pony rides in the beautiful surrounds of Redcliffe's Botanic Gardens. Gold-coin donation parking will be available in adjacent Bradley Park (weather permitting) - access via Henzell Street.Whats Cooking In The Gardens Flyer.pdf
