Event Description

For those of you in Brisbane, we have a compost making workshop this weekend at our home in Samford on Saturday between
1-5pm. It will be a large Biodynamic compost heap.
You are most welcome to attend and learn by participating. There is no charge, but please bring some willing hands and food to share. You can also see our garden and the community garden, it looks a treat at the moment.

GrowVetiver

Vetiver grass helps to stabilise soil and protects it against erosion.  It can protect against pests and weeds. Vetiver is also used as animal feed. (Wiki.)

GrowVetiver is a plant nursery run by Dave & Keir Riley that harvests and grows Vetiver grass for local community applications and use. It is based in Beachmere, just north of Brisbane, Australia.
